Very nice sieve! - I guess there s not too much difference between one sieve and another in terms of how well it sieves things! However, this sieve seems to be of a much higher standard than my other sieves.Most sieves are just tinned metal so they stain/discolour very quickly and eventually start to rust. This sieve is made from stainless steel and is even dishwasher proof so I d expect it to give many years of service and stay in good condition much longer.The soft touch handle gives a much better grip and is more comfortable to hold than those traditional sieves which have bare metal grips instead of proper handles. If you re straining thick liquids like sauces/soups, it can be quite heavy so a nice well-balanced handle is important.I ve had quite a few Good Housekeeping kitchen products now, and they all seem to be well designed, nicely made and fairly priced. This sieve seems to be as good as usual.As nice a sieve as you re likely to find - 5 stars!
